Our Mission
Our mission is to provide early, accessible support for young people aged 18-30 who are navigating mental health challenges, particularly in the time between asking for help and receiving it. Based in Bristol, Between23 is a Community Interest Company (CIC) focused on creating safe, consistent spaces where individuals can feel heard, supported, and understood.
Through a structured programme lasting up to six months, we deliver 1:1 sessions, group activities, and a weekly hub to reduce isolation and support wellbeing. Our approach focuses on building confidence, emotional awareness, and connection during periods of uncertainty.
We work alongside existing mental health services, not in place of them, ensuring that no one is left without support while they wait.

How We Help
All support below is available throughout the project
1:1 Support Sessions
We provide structured 1:1 support sessions that offer a safe, consistent space to talk openly and feel heard. Each session is shaped around the individual, creating time to reflect, explore challenges, and build practical ways to manage day-to-day wellbeing.
The focus is on building confidence, emotional awareness, and a stronger sense of control during uncertain periods. Through regular support, individuals feel more grounded, supported, and better prepared for what comes next. This approach provides preventative, community-based support alongside existing mental health services.
Weekly Hub
Our weekly hub is a relaxed, drop-in space designed to reduce isolation and build a sense of community. It allows individuals to connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges, without pressure or expectation. The hub creates a consistent point of support each week, helping people feel less alone and more connected.
Participants can also bring anything they may need support with in between group sessions or 1:1s, so they’re not left to manage things on their own. This sense of ongoing support and belonging plays a key role in improving wellbeing during periods of uncertainty.
Group Activities
We offer group sessions that focus on creative expression and physical movement as accessible ways to support mental wellbeing. These sessions provide opportunities to engage in low-pressure activities that encourage self-expression, routine, and confidence building.
Taking part in shared experiences helps strengthen social connections and reduces feelings of isolation. This approach supports both emotional and physical wellbeing in a way that feels inclusive and manageable. Physical and creative activities can play an important role in boosting mood, reducing stress, and supporting overall mental wellbeing.
